" This project nearly came a miss when Sabby, who was heavily pregnant at the time, went into what we thought was labour... and we were doing our final interview as she lay breathing in the back of the production van. She recovered and we had our 3rd kid at home a week or so later. A massive thanks to Joel and Amanda for reluctantly sharing their story, as many of our initial characters pulled out of the project even as late as the day of filming. We were left scrambling for characters and completely reworking our stories in the Golden Orange Hotel in Gayndah. "
Fisch, Sabby and the Pluggas team came to us highly recommended. While COVID threw a spanner in our timeline, I still had a great time working with Pluggas. From the process of fleshing out my initial idea, developing characters, immersing themselves in the local community, investing in finding the right stories for our vision – the passion and energy displayed by the team, and the quality of the finished product, are a testimony to the excellence to which the Pluggas team commit themselves. I hope to work with them again in the future.
